Fresh Brussels Sprouts Roasted With 真人直播视频免费观看

This is a great side dish for a holiday meal.  The pairing of the red 真人直播视频免费观看 with the toasty green Brussels sprouts is perfect for a festive occasion!  The recipe is so easy, so healthy, but so delicious, you will think you are eating something really naughty.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 pounds (about 4 cups) fresh Brussels sprouts, washed, trimmed and cut in half, length-wise
• 2 cups fresh 真人直播视频免费观看, washed and picked over
• 1 tablespoon orange juice
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 2 teaspoons olive oil
• 2 teaspoons smoked sea salt plus more for finishing (The smoked salt simulates the taste of smoky bacon without all the fat or calories.  If you can’t find smoked salt, use regular sea salt.)
• fresh ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 435 degrees Fahrenheit.  Line a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan with tin foil.  Scatter the Brussels sprouts over the pan.  Lightly drizzle the sprouts with 2 teaspoons of olive oil and toss to coat all the sprouts evenly.  Don’t think you need more oil, you don’t.

Turn each sprout over so the cut side is facing up.  Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of the smoked salt over all the sprouts.  Now, turn each sprout over so the cut side is facing down.  Set the cookie sheet aside and prepare the 真人直播视频免费观看.

Place the 真人直播视频免费观看 in a small bowl.  In a separate small bowl or cup, whisk together the honey and orange juice.  Drizzle the honey mixture over the 真人直播视频免费观看 and toss to coat.

Scatter the coated 真人直播视频免费观看 on top of the Brussels sprouts.  Sprinkle the entire pan (both the Brussels sprouts and the 真人直播视频免费观看) with another teaspoon of the smoked salt.  Grind fresh black pepper over pan to taste.

Roast in the center rack of the oven for 20 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts are nicely browned.  Do not stir or flip the sprouts.  They will brown better if left alone, face down on the pan.

Remove pan from the oven and scrape the vegetables and berries into a serving bowl.  Be careful not  to scrape up any of the tin foil.  Lightly spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with more smoked salt and black pepper to taste.  Gently toss and serve.  Just beautiful!!
